Additional IGP of Bangladesh Police Habibur Rahman is currently serving as Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). The living legend of the Bangladesh Police Force, Habibur Rahman, known as the hero of the police force, was born on January 1, 1967 in Chandradighlia village of Gopalganj. This officer of 17th BCS has previously served as Superintendent of Police of Dhaka District.
He joined Dhaka range as DIG after serving as Additional DIG at Police Headquarters. After serving as DIG, he served as Additional IGP as Tourist Police Chief.
